What began as a kitchen renovation started by the homeowner led to an update of the first floor living spaces in this young families center hall colonial in Bethesda, MD. With a modern aesthetic in mind, they challenged us to find a way to incorporate their collection of classic heirloom furniture. An interesting juxtaposition in making an old house new again, we mixed clean lines with intricate details, old frames with fresh fabrics, and added modern architectural elements to a classic structure.
